Nona was born in Armenia and was inspired to learn the violin when she first heard her mother play the instrument. As a result, she commenced classes when she was 8 years old, receiving tuition in both violin and piano.
She participated in the Young Musician Republic Competition, where young musicians from all Armenia came to complete and took the 4th place when she was11 years old.
Whilst studying at the Yerevan State Conservatory under Komitas, she was also playing in National Jazz orchestra. She later she joined Radio Symphonic and Chamber orchestras and graduated as an Instrumental teacher and Orchestral performer.
In 2010 Nona became a Concert Master of UAE Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a teacher, Nona is very experienced in teaching all levels of ability and frequently successfully prepares students for the violin ABRSM AND TRINITY examinations. She has a firm belief that every child should have an opportunity to learn a musical instrument and reap the rewards that this experience offers.
