Peter Whibley

Peter was born in Taunton in Somerset, England, and before coming to the Middle East was teaching guitar in schools in the U.K. as well as performing in various London clubs including the Marque, the Astoria Theatre and Mean Fiddler.

In the U.K., Peter had a publishing contract with RCA Records, released a single and a compilation album and supported acts like Dr. Feelgood, Cockney Rebel, The Troggs, Steve Marriot and Stretch.

He fell in love with the Middle East when he came here to play for British and American troops and has never left. Peter is an accomplished musician and enjoys teaching guitar to all students, from complete beginners to those who have reached a high level.
